Timber products exported via TMP Main Terminal at Tanjung Manis Centre 83 km from Sibu are expected to increase in 2013. TMP is now experiencing tremendous increase of these products shipped through its wharf in the 1st quarter this year. This surge is mainly attributed to the good road link which timber exporters are capitalising on to move their exports direct to TMP Main terminal for shipment. This is a positive sign which augurs well for TMP which is now aggressively promoting itself as an direct exportation hub for timber products in the Central region.- 15.04.2013
